# Create Shareable Link

> Create a shareable link for an entry

## Overview

Creates a new shareable link for a file or folder. Anyone with the link can access the file based on the permissions you set.

## Path Parameters

  Optional password protection

  Optional expiration date (ISO 8601 format)

  Allow editing via the link

  Allow downloading via the link
